Det var rimmet till julklappen till farmor och farfar - gissa vad?
That was the Christmas rhym to grandma and grandpa - guess what?

Jag har det som standard skämt om Sverige att vi har pingviner i skogen, och berättade det för dem och de trodde på mig.

   Det är så att det finns dessutom olika sorters pingviner - skogspinginer och ispingviner. Ispingvinerna lever bland snön uppe i norr (ja, för det där om att pingvinerna lever i syd och isbjörnarna i norr har alla fått om bakfoten, det är en myt. Egentligen är det tvärt om), och skogspingvinerna lever i skogen. De trivs dock inte så mycket på sommaren, det är för varmt för dem så dem samlas runt alla sjöar de kan hitta. Ibland när man orienterar stöter man på pingviner, men de är oftast räddare för oss än vad vi är för dem.

   En mamma till och med svarade "ja jag vet, vi har de i Alaska och de andra kalla staterna också!", vilket gjorde den dagen<3

   Att jag fick en pysselbok med pingvinerna från Madagaskar (filmen) och pinginvgodis också från Madagaskar från farmor och farfar gjorde vårat julklappsutbyte ännu roligare!

My standard joke about Sweden is that we have penguins in the forest, and that's what I told them too and they believed me.

   There are two different sorts of penguins - forest penguins and ice penguins. The ice penguins live in the snowy north (yes, tha whole idea that the penguins live in the south and the polarbears in the north is wrong, its a myth. It actually the opposite), and the forest penguins live in the forest. They don'r really like it in the summer though, it gets too hot for them and they gather around the lakes. Sometimes when you're running in the woods you meet them, but they are usually more afraid of you than what you are of them.

   One mom even said "yes, I know, we have them in Alaska and the other cold states too!", which made that day<3

   That grandma and grandpa gave me an excerise book with the penguins from Madagaskar (the movie) and penguin candy, also from Madagaskar, just made our gift exchange even better!
